By Anonymous Plano, Texas - Cinemark USA, Inc. will begin construction soon on a 12-screen theatre in Monaca, Pennsylvania, as part of the Center Township Marketplace located at Pennsylvania Route 18 and Wagner Road. Cinemark will be the entertainment destination within the shopping center along with retailers which include Shop N’ Save, Lowe’s Home Improvement and Pier 1 Imports. The is expected to open in Spring, 2004.
The 2100-seat Cinemark 12 will offer stadium seating, digital sound, advance ticketing over the internet, and concession stands providing hot popcorn, soft drinks and candy. The theatre will also be equipped for the implementation of digital cinema as that technology develops. The theatre's design harkens back to the golden age of Hollywood with an art-deco color scheme of muted red, gold and bronze.
The stadium seating at Cinemark 12 will allow patrons to enjoy unobstructed views from plush, high-backed seats featuring an increased height difference between each row as compared to traditional sloped auditorium seating. Spacing of 48-inches between each aisle will give movie-goers more leg room and ample space to enter and exit their row without disturbing other guests.
Patrons of Cinemark 12 can forgo hearing the words “Sold Out” at the box office by utilizing Cinemark's on-line ticketing which allows advance ticket purchases over the Internet at Cinemark.com. Utilizing on-line ticketing, customers can be guaranteed to have a ticket to Hollywood blockbusters.
